AMINE-TREATED LIGNITE

Amine-treated Lignite is a filtration‐control additive designed for use in all oil‐base systems, as well as synthetic‐base systems. It is an effective alternative to asphalt or gilsonite where their use is undesirable. Amine-treated Ligniteis effective and applicable in all oil‐ and synthetic‐base drilling fluids, and is compatible with other additives.

LIMITATIONS

Effectiveness is reduced at temperatures approaching 300°F (149°C) requiring higher concentrations to be used

PACKING AND STORAGES

Amine-treated Ligniteis packaged in 50‐lb (22.7‐kg) and 25‐kg (55.1‐lb), multi‐wall, paper sacks. Store in a dry, well‐ventilated area. Keep container closed. Store away from incompatibles. Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink‐wrapping and/or stacking.
